Anna M. (Rose) Jacintho

New Bedford – Anna M. (Rose) Jacintho, age 90, of New Bedford, passed away on Monday, December 7, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She had been the beloved wife of the late Joseph G. “JJ” Jacintho.

Born in Nantucket, MA she was the daughter of the late Antone Rose and Matilda (Gonsalves) Rose. She had worked as a cashier for the Registry of Motor Vehicles for many years.

Survivors include her children, Joseph A. Jacintho, Donald Jacintho and his wife Corlis, Frankie R. Jacintho, Richard P. Jacintho and his wife Lolita and Elaine M. Jackson; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was also the sister of the late Domingo Rose, Margaret Lopes and Aguinal Rose .

Anna’s funeral service and burial were private.
