Donald "Duke" Rapoza

Rochester – Donald “ Duke” Rapoza, age 86, of Dartmouth, MA passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Jean (Roderick) Rapoza.
Born in New Bedford, MA he was the son of the late Anthony Rapoza and Mary (Costa) Rapoza. Donald had been a U.S. Army Veteran and had served during the Korean War. He later went on to work as a bus operator for the City of Brockton and the City of New Bedford.

Duke was a very thoughtful, a very generous and loving family man. He was courageous and kind with a sense of humor right up to the very end.

He is survived by his wife, Jean; daughters, Diane Rapoza and Wendy Rapoza; 7 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was also the father of the late Steven Rapoza and the brother of several deceased brothers and sisters.

Donald’s service with his ashes present will take place on February 22 at Mt. Carmel Church at 10:30 A.M. Please meet directly at Church.
