Sharon T. (Dewhurst) Medeiros

Boston – Sharon T. Medeiros, age 70, of Fairhaven, MA succumbed to a long illness on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of David Medeiros.

Born in Acushnet, MA she was the daughter of the late Albert Dewhurst and Esther (Souza) Dewhurst. Sharon had worked as a medical coding technician for Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital for many years.

She is survived by her husband, David; 3 step-children, Velvet Medeiros, Scott Medeiros and Jason Medeiros; 3 step-grandchildren and 4 step-great-grandchildren; her sister, Joyce Perry, her brother, Albert Dewhurst Jr. and her nephew, Scott Perry.

A memorial service for Sharon will take place on Sunday, October 25, 2020 from 2:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations can kindly be made to the Liver Foundation in Sharon’s memory.

All attendees are required by current mandated restrictions to wear a face covering at all times, to practice social distancing of 6 feet and to please refrain from any close physical contact.
