Frank Texeira

New Bedford – Frank Texeira, age 98, of New Bedford, MA passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at his home. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary (Abreu) Texeira.

Born in New Bedford, MA he was the son of the late Francisco Texeira and Maria (Alves) Texeira. Frank had been a veteran of the United States Army and later worked as an operator for Acushnet Processing Company, later known as Acushnet Company. In his more recent years, he truly enjoyed and loved his stay at Autumn Glen.

Frank is survived by his 3 sons, Richard Texeira and his wife Pamela D., Michael Texeira and his wife Jean and David Texeira and his longtime companion, Anne Adamowicz; 2 grandchildren, Amy C. Texeira and Kevin Texeira and his wife Kristy and 3 great-grandchildren, Paige Texeira, Noah Texeira and Jordan Marshall.

Frank’s visiting hours and funeral services will be held on Tuesday morning, September 8, 2020 at Perry Funeral Home. Visiting hours will be held from 10:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. with a service to take place at 11:00 A.M. Burial will immediately follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.

All attendees are required by current mandated restrictions to wear a face covering and to practice social distancing of 6 feet. Attendance will be limited in order to meet the mandated capacity restrictions.
