Robert Michael Perry

Dartmouth – Robert Michael Perry, age 66, of New Bedford passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at Brandon Woods of Dartmouth. Born in Acushnet, MA he was the beloved son of the late Edwin G. Perry and Caroline (Aguiar) Perry.

Robert had been a long-time resident of Brandon Woods. He was an avid reader and a fan of all Boston sports teams. He enjoyed spending time with family and he was very devoted to caring for his mother before he became ill. Robert had a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off his back. He was one of a kind and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Robert is survived by his aunt Eva and uncle Charlie Arruda of Dartmouth; his aunt Madelaine Przewozeny of New Bedford; his aunt Anna Medeiros of CA.; his aunt Leonora Ramos of Dartmouth and uncle Edward Aguiar of CA. Predeceased by his uncle Manny who he missed very much and spoke of often. He also had several cousins who were very special to him.

Robert’s visiting hours will be held Sunday afternoon, August 23, 2020 from 1:00 P.M. – 3:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Home. His funeral will be held Monday morning, beginning in the funeral home at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Church Dartmouth at 10:00 A.M. Burial will immediately follow in St. John’s Cemetery.

All attendees are required by current mandated restrictions to wear a face covering and to practice social distancing of 6 feet. Attendance may be limited in order to meet the mandated capacity restrictions.
