Mary Louise (Alexander) Gauthier

Fall River – Mary Louise (Alexander) Gauthier, age 75, of New Bedford passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River. She was the loving wife of the late William Gauthier.

Born in Newport, Rhode Island, she was the beloved daughter of the late Frederick and Elma (Ball) Alexander. After graduating from Middletown High School in Rhode Island, Mary went on to attend nursing school in Maine. She had been an L.P.N. for 30 years and had worked at the Rhode Island Veterans Home in Bristol, R.I.

She loved spending time with her family, especially the time spent with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed gardening, music and spending time by the ocean.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Dawn Henricks and her husband Rui Couto; her grandson, Dylan Henricks-Couto and her granddaughter, Destiny Lee Fumo.

Mary’s funeral services were private in accordance with her wishes.
