Victor Rivera

New Bedford – Victor Rivera, age 61, of New Bedford, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2020 at Tobey Hospital. Born in Carolina, Puerto Rico, he was the beloved son of Martin Rivera and Maria Victoria Agosto.

Victor had worked as a ship painter in the marine industry for many years.

He is survived by his sisters, Mercedes Rivera of New Bedford and Gloria R. Rivera Agosto of Puerto Rico; several children; his nieces, Beba Rivera of Fall River, Glenda Rivera, Katy Rivera, both of New Bedford and his nephew, Pipito of New Bedford.

Victor’s funeral services will be held on Monday, July 13, 2020 at Perry Funeral Home. His visiting hours will be held from 10:00 A.M. -12:00 P.M. followed by a service to take place at 12:00 P.M. His burial will follow in Rural Cemetery at 1:00 P.M.
