Nicolahs J. Souza

New Bedford – Nicolahs J. Souza, age 30, of Fall River passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at St. Luke’s Hospital. Born in New Bedford, MA he was the beloved son of Ana (Bolarinho) Souza.

Nicolahs had worked as a commercial fisherman for many years. He loved fishing, being on the ocean and had a passion for music.

Nicolahs is survived by his mom, Ana; daughter, Natalya Souza; maternal grandparents, Nicolau and Rita Bolarinho of St. Michael, Azores; his sisters, Cassandra Souza and Kayla Farland; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations can kindly be made to the Homeless Shelter.

His visiting hours and funeral services will be held on Monday, July 6, 2020. Visiting hours will be held from 9:30 A.M. – 11:30 A.M. at Perry Funeral Home and followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 12:00 P.M. Burial will immediately follow in Rural Cemetery.

All attendees for visiting hours and church services are required by current mandated restrictions to wear a face covering and to practice social distancing of 6 feet. Attendance will be limited at both places in order to meet the mandated capacity restrictions.
