David Charles Oswald

New Bedford – David Charles Oswald, age 51, of New Bedford passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at St. Luke’s Hospital. Born in New Bedford, MA he was the beloved son of Oliver Oswald and the late Rosemary (Pavao) Oswald and the beloved fiancé of Lori Pacheco for 16 years.

David had been a supervisor in the cooler department for Sid Wainer & Son for many years. Prior to that, he had worked with his dad at Acushnet Company for many years and also worked with his uncle doing carpet installations. David loved his family very much and he especially loved going to the beach with his daughter as the would enjoy their time spent just relaxing and looking out over the water. He also loved going on long drives and taking his daughter to see the lights at Christmas time. In his spare time, he also loved to bowl, in which he spent many years bowling with his dad.

David is survived by his dad and step-mom, Oliver and Jean Oswald; his fiancé, Lori Pacheco; his daughter, Nevaeh Pacheco; as well as, 1 brother, 1 sister and several nieces and nephews.
