Jovalina Amaral

New Bedford – Jovalina Amaral, age 72, of New Bedford passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at Sarah S. Brayton Nursing Care Center.

Born in St. Michael, Azores, she was the beloved daughter of the late Antone and Maria da Gloria (Chaves) De Amaral. She had worked as a stitcher for a local garment manufacturer.

She is survived by her sister, Maria Ambrosina Augusto and her husband Antone; as well as her nephew, Michael Augusto.

Jovalina’s funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 10th 2020 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 10:30 A.M. Everyone is kindly asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will immediately follow in St. John’s Cemetery.
