Steven E. Decunha

New Bedford – Steven E. DeCunha, age 63, of New Bedford passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2020 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in New Bedford, MA he was the beloved son of Louis and Mary (Rodriques) DeCunha.

Steven had worked as a Residential Counselor for Crystal Springs, Inc. for many years. He loved sports, especially baseball and had been an umpire for many years.

Steven is survived by his siblings, Lawrence DeCunha and Karen Brum; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Richard DeCunha and Doreen King.

Steven’s visiting hours with his cremains present will take place on July 1 from 5-7 P.M. A mass will be held at St Anthony of Padua Church on July 2 at 11:00 A.M. Everyone attending is asked to meet directly at Church. All attendees are required by current mandated restrictions to wear a face covering and to practice social distancing of 6 feet. Attendance will be limited in order to meet the mandated capacity restrictions
