Lucy Neves

New Bedford – Lucy (Sousa) Neves, age 80, of New Bedford, passed away at St. Luke's Hospital on Friday, May 29, 2020. She was the beloved wife of Carlos Neves.

Lucy was born in Terceira, Azores to the late Ines and Manuel Sousa. She had worked as a seamstress for several local clothing factories and later on, also worked for Brandon Woods Nursing Home.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Carlos; her daughters, Susana Neves-Coito and her husband David and Cristina Jagoda; her grandchildren, Nicole Coito, Mathew Souza, Dr. Madison Jagoda and Caleb Jagoda.

Lucy’s funeral services will be private for the immediate family due to the mandated restrictions in regards to the Covid-19 Pandemic.
