Anna Duarte

New Bedford MA- Anna (Duarte) Duarte died February 18, 2006 at Sacred Heart Home in New Bedford . She was the wife of the late Alvaro A. Duarte. She was the mother of Lorraine A. Cruz of New Bedford MA. She was the sister of Maria Vieira of New Bedford, MA. She also is survived by 5Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Duarte was the daughter of the late James and Gertrude (Rodrigues) Duarte. She was born in New Bedford and lived in this area all her life. Mrs. Duarte was a member of the Cape Verdean Ultra Marine Band Club

The Funeral Mass will take place Thursday February 23 2006 at Our Lady of the Assumption Church at 9 A.M. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, New Bedford, MA. Visiting hours are Wednesday February 22, 2006 from 5-8 P.M. at the Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth Street New Bedford, MA.
