Laudalina Arruda

New Bedford –New Bedford – Laudalina de Jesus da S. Arruda, 71, of New Bedford, died with complications from dialysis Monday 4, 2020 at St. Lukes Hospital. She was the daughter of Maria de Jesus Arruda and the late António Pimentel Arruda of New Bedford.

Born in Ribeira Seca, da Ribeira Grande São Miguel Açores. Laudalina was communicant of Our Lady Of Mount Charmel Church and she loved her Pastor Father Jack Oliveira when he used to come to the house to visit her and gave her Communion.

She enjoyed to spend time with her family.

Her family includes her mother; two brothers and two sisters. José S. Arruda and his wife Verónica Arruda of New Bedford, António M. Arruda and his wife Lucia Arruda of East Providence, Natália Paulino and her husband Fernando Paulino of New Bedford and Maria dos Anjos Ferreira of New Bedford.

She had several nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces. Laudalina was the sister in law of the late José António Ferreira and aunt of the late Jeffery Arruda and Melissa Ferreira.

Visiting hours are private due to pandemic restrictions. Interment in Rural Cemetery.
A memorial service will take place at a later time.
