Durvino C. Zangao

New Bedford – Durvino C. Zangao, age 60, of New Bedford passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Fernanda (Araujo) Zangao.

Born in Lagoa, St. Michael, Azores he was the beloved son of the late Antone Zangao and Maria Rosa (Costa) Zangao. Durvino had been a truck driver for Quality Custom Packing.

He is survived by his wife, Fernanda; step-son, Eladio Gomez and his wife Laura; granddaughter, Amaia Gomez; brothers and sisters, Raul Oliveira and his wife Margarida, Jose F. Zangao and his wife Maria, the late Antonio Oliveira and his wife Maria, Eduardo Oliveira and his wife Maria Francisca, the late Olinda Manteiga and her late husband Manuel; Rosa Lopes and her husband Manuel, Zelia Sarmento, Grace Botelho and her late husband Martins, Teresa Vieira and her companion Jimmy Sturtevant and John Zangao.

Durvino’s funeral services will be private due to the recent mandated restrictions in regards to the Covid-19 Pandemic.
