Antonio F. Correia

New Bedford – Antonio F. Correia, age 75, of New Bedford passed away on Monday, April 20, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Fatima D. (Borges) Correia.

Born in Faial, Azores, Portugal he was the beloved son of the late Antonio Goncalves Correia and Amelia de Lurdes (Costa) Correia. Antonio had been a self-employed carpenter for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Fatima; his daughter, Sandra Correia and her fiancé Joshua Ellis Sr.; his grandchildren, Austin Correia and his companion, Shyla Diaz, Collyn Ellis, Joshua Ellis, Jr., Ava Ellis and Grace Ellis; his great-grandson, Austin Correia, Jr.; as well as his former son-in-law, Demetrius Pereira.

Antonio’s funeral services will be private due to the recent mandated restrictions in regards to the Covid-19 Pandemic. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding during this very difficult time.
