Terence J. O'Shea

Rhode Island – Terence J. O’Shea, age 60, of New Bedford, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Rhode Island Hospital. Born in New Bedford, MA, he was the beloved son of the late Patrick and Lorraine (Bouchard) O’Shea.

Terence had worked as a police officer for the City of New Bedford for many years. He had been so proud to be a police officer and serve the public. He loved sports and especially loved watching his team, the Dallas Cowboys.

He is survived by his 2 sons, Ryan O’Shea and Christopher O’Shea; his brothers, Kevin O’Shea and Michael O’Shea; his dear friend, Debra A. Machado; as well as his former wife, Carol Ann (Arruda) O’Shea.

Terence’s funeral services will be private due to the recent mandated restrictions in regards to the Covid-19 Pandemic. A memorial service will take place at a later date. Please check back on our website for the update.
