Arthur S. Rose

Fall River – Arthur S. Rose, age 71, of Westport, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2019 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Christine E. (Darmofal) Rose.

Arthur was born in New Bedford, MA to the late Manuel R. Rose and Lillian (Mendes) Rose. He had been a lobsterman for many years and loved to fish. He enjoyed 53 years of hunting, never missing a year. Arthur’s favorite time spent was with his wife and his family, whom he loved dearly.

He is survived by his wife, Christine; son, Kevin W. Rose and grandson, Austin W. Rose.

Arthur’s visiting hours with his cremains will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at Perry Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.
