Ronald R. Brie

New Bedford – Ronald R. Brie, age 79, of New Bedford, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2019 at St. Luke’s Hospital. Born in New Bedford, MA, he was the beloved son of the late Raymond R. Brie and Winifred (Sylvia) Brie.

Ronald had worked as a facilities manager for Sacred Heart Nursing Home for many years. He liked the Red Sox and enjoyed playing casino games on his computer. He also liked to watch wrestling and The Joy of Painting TV show with Bob Ross, the painter.

He is survived by his daughter, Donna Lucas and her companion Robert Cross and Susan Brie; 3 grandchildren, Daniel Lucas, and his wife Shaylene, Steven Lucas and his wife Kristy and Julie Brie; siblings, Raymond Brie and his wife Rita, Paul Brie and his wife Sheila, Virginia Jones and Kathryn Poyant and her husband Paul; 3 great-grandchildren, Daniel Lucas Jr., Jackson Lucas and Paris Stone; his ex wife Gloria Brie; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Ronald’s visiting hours will be held Sunday, December 8th from 2:00 P.M.- 4:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Home. His funeral service will be held Monday morning in the funeral home, beginning at 9:00 A.M. with a service to take place at 10:00 A.M. Burial will immediately follow in Rural Cemetery.
