Teresa (Santos) Araujo

New Bedford – Teresa (Santos) Araujo, age 80, of New Bedford, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at home with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Fernando Araujo.

Teresa was born in St. Michael, Azores, to the late Antonio and Ana (Frutuoso) Santos. She had been a loving homemaker to her family.

She is survived by her children, Fernanda Zangao, Grace Catana, Maria Ferran, Ana Ferreira, Maria Coucelos and Linda Bento, all of New Bedford; 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Teresa’s funeral services were private.
