Beverly Mae Britto

New Bedford – Beverly Mae Britto, age 72, of New Bedford, passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at home unexpectedly. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis Britto.

Beverly was born in Torrington, CT to the late Joseph C. and Dorothy Evelyn (Whitney) Nowakowski. She had worked as an office clerk for the State of Massachusetts Welfare Department.

She is survived by her brothers, Joseph C. Nowakowski of Oregon, Walter Nowakowski and Thomas Nowakowski, both of Connecticut and Ted Nowakowski of Florida; her sister, Judy Gunterman of N. Carolina; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 15th at 12:00 P.M. in St. John's Cemetery.
