Jose Bagaco

Acushnet- Jose H.Bagaco, age 54, of Acushnet , Ma passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at home. He was the beloved son of Manuel Bagaco and Natalia (Macedo) Bagaco, of New Bedford

Jose was born in Pico, Azores and had worked as a Marine mechanic on various vessels for Fairhaven Ship Yard and Co. He was a huge Ford Mustang enthusiast and owned several classic mustangs.

He is survived by his beautiful wife Gloria Bagaco of Acushnet.; His loving parents, two brothers Manuel I. Bagaco and his wife Cecily of Westport and Louis Bagaco and his wife Lynne of Westport, a nephew Adam Bagaco, 3 nieces, Emma Bagaco, Sarah Nelson and Rebekah Bagaco.

Jose’s visiting hours will be held on Monday, September 30th from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Home. His funeral will be Tuesday morning October 1st, beginning in the funeral home at 9:30 A.M. and followed with a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 10:30 A.M. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery.
