Alice Przystarz

New Bedford - Alice Przystarz, aged 78 years, died Tuesday, January 17, 2006 at Sacred Heart Home. She was the ex-wife of Louis Przystarz of New Bedford. She was the mother of Peter Przystarz, husband of Anne Przystarz of New Bedford and Paul Przystarz of N. Dartmouth. She was the grandmother of Michael, Kimberly and Sarah Przystarz. Mrs. Przystarz was the sister of Elsie Anthony, Mary Fagundes, and Nancy Gonzalez and the late Anna Owens.

Mrs. Przystarz was born in New Bedford, the daughter of late John B. and Deolinda (Costa) Anthony. She lived in New Bedford her entire life. She was a sales clerk for Save-Rite. She graduated from Fairhaven High School, Class of 1945 and was a member of the Wampanoag Tribe of Aquinnah. Donations to St.James - St.John’s School, 180 Orchard St., New Bedford, MA. 02740, or The Greater New Bedford Women's Center or to the Sacred Heart Home.

In accordance with her wishes she was be cremated.

A Memorial Mass will be held Sunday, January 22, 2006 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church at St. James Parish at 1 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
