Brian "Biggie" Amaral

New Bedford – Brian “Biggie” Amaral, age 39, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2019 at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Kerry Ann (Roberts) Amaral.

Brian was born in New Bedford, MA and was the son of Carlos M. Amaral and Maria F. (Pereira) Pimentel. He had worked as a commercial fisherman for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Kerry Ann Amaral; his mother, Maria Pimentel and step-father Joao Pimentel; his father, Carlos Amaral and step-mother Diane Amaral; grandmother, Dora Pereira; daughter, Alexandra “Lexi” Amaral; godparents, Joe and Tiberia Pereira; sister, Wendy Amaral; mother-in law, Janet Kim; father-in-law, Ray Roberts and his wife Cynthia Roberts; aunt, Judith Deschenes; uncle, Joe Amaral; nephew, Nathan Fidalgo; niece, Phoenix Kim; cousins, Benjamin Deschenus, Andy Pereira, Stephanie and Amanda Pereira; brother-in-law, Kyle Kim and his wife Ashlee and sisters-in-law, Kayla Kim and Kelby Kim.

Brian’s visiting hours will be held on Friday, September 13th from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Home. His funeral will be Saturday morning, beginning in the funeral home at 9:30 A.M. and followed with a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 10:30 A.M. Burial will be private.
