Stephen D. Sorell

Rhode Island – Stephen D. Sorell, age 68, of New Bedford passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in R.I. He was the beloved husband of the late Norma Jean (Pinto) Sorell.

Stephen, born in New Bedford, was the son of the late Harold and Mary (Araujo) Sorell. He had worked in the tech support field for many years.

He is survived by his daughters, Judy Sorell, Daphne Arruda and son-in-law, Jonathan and Andrea Sorell and son-in-law, Mike Ouimette; son, William Sorell; granddaughters, Cody Sorell and Rayne Arruda; grandson, Malek Arruda; brother, Joe Sorell, sister, Ann Tomlinson; as well as nieces and nephews.

Stephen’s services will take place Tuesday July 9th from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. relatives and friends are invited to attend.
