Suzanne Lopez

Suzanne (Desouza) Lopez of New Bedford passed away on Monday, May 27, 2019 peacefully in her home surrounded by family.

She was the sister of late Laura (Desouza) Mendes and Sherly (Desouza) Guidry.

For many years she worked as a certified nurse's aide, she enjoyed driving by beaches, visiting duck ponds and watching airplanes at the airport. She spent the majority of her time enjoying these activities with her grandchildren.

Suzanne is the daughter of Ronald Desouza and Elaine (Cobbett) Desouza also of New Bedford.

She is survived by her six children: Deanna, Jermaine, Angela , Hinginio Jr, Mindy and Charles (Christopher), 15 grandchildren, Darius, Damian, Kayla, Dallas, Dante, Taysia, Dashawn, Dyanni, Aiden, Juniluis, Johnathan, Juan Jr, Hinginio III, Mia,and a baby on the way. Her two sisters and a brother, Rene Desouza, Diana (Desouza) Matos, Ronald Jr. and many nieces and nephews.

Suzanne's visiting hours will be on Saturday, June 1, 2019 from 12 - 3:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. New Bedford, Ma.
