Janet Lee Murphy Hebert

On Wednesday, March 27th, 2019, Janet Murphy-Hebert, loving mother of two, passed away at the age of 68.

Janet was born on January 24th, 1951 in New Bedford, MA to Gladys Rebello and Alfred Lawrence. She bared two sons, Shad and Kyle Murphy. She then went on to marry her late husband, Paul Hebert on March 17th 1993.
Janet was a strong, caring, brave, and independent woman. Who had a love for her many collections, the beach, hot weather, tanning, and most of all, family gatherings. Janet was known for her humor, warm hugs, and whimsical nature.

Janet survived by her two sons, Shad; his wife Thelma, and Kyle Murphy. Her grandchildren, Young Shad, Milena; her husband Cpl. Samuel Demers, Kia Lynn, Little Kyle, and Sienna. Also, by her great grandchildren, LJ, and Ayla. As well as, her brother Jodi Aguiar, and adopted sons Eddie Camara and Tim Viveiros. Followed by her aunts and many cousins.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 13th, 2019 at Perry’s Funeral Home on Dartmouth Street at 1 o’clock p.m through 4 o’clock p.m. Flowers may be sent to 111 Dartmouth Street New Bedford, MA 02740.
