Isabel (Swire) Rawcliffe

New Bedford – Isabel (Swire) Rawcliffe of New Bedford, age 65 years, died Thursday, December 1, 2005 at St. Lukes Hospital. She was the wife of the late Percy Rawcliffe. She was the Mother of Rosemary Raphael of New Bedford, Sharon Dimond of New Bedford and Joseph Mendes IV of New Bedford. She was the sister of Roger Swire of Fall River, Bruce Swire of New Bedford, Donald Swire of E. Falmouth, Ma, Thomas Swire of New Bedford, Russell Swire of New Bedford, and Brian Swire of Fairhaven Ma. Survivors also include 7 Grandchildren and Several Nieces and Nephews. She was also the Sister of the late Wayne Swire.

Mrs. Rawcliffe was the daughter of the late Alice (Silveira) and Alvin Swire. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Rawcliffe was very involved in her Parish at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church

A Memorial service will take place Tuesday, December 6, 2005, at 11:30 AM at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church. Relatives and Friends are Invited. Visiting hours will be Monday, December 5, 2005 from 7 - 9 P.M. In accordance with her wishes she will be cremated. Please Omit Flowers
