Jaime Jose

Mattapoisett-Jaime Jose died November 9, 2005 at home surrounded by his loved ones. He was the husband of Lucy (Bispo) Jose. He was the father of Jamie L. and Jonathan L. Jose both of New Bedford. He was the loved grandfather of Amanda, Jamie, Trinity and Hailey. He was the brother of Fernando Marques of New Bedford, and the late Hilda Richards.

Mr. Jose was born in Trenton, New Jersey. He was the son of the late Jacintho and Francisca (Amaral) Jose. He lived in this area most of his life. He was a manager for a furniture business. He was member of the American Legion of Mattapoisett, He served for 21 years in the Massachusetts National Guard where he attained the rank of Master Sergeant, and served on active duty.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday November 14, 2005 at St. Anthony Church Mattapoisett at 10 A.M. Visiting Hours will be Sunday November 13, 2005 from 4-7 P.M. Burial will follow a Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA. “Please Omit Flowers”.
