New Bedford – Darlene Marie Tessier age 55, passed away at St. Lukes Hospital on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 by Natural Cause. Born February 7, 1963 in Fall River, Ma, she was the daughter of the late Doris (Guido) and James Tessier.
She is survived by her companion Mario Vieira, her children: Jessica Sousa, Jeffrey Carvalho, Derek Carvalho and Nathan Rodriguez, her grandchildren: George, Paige, Julian, Karin, Derek Jr. Lilly Ann, Yahaira, Julianna and Jeffrey Jr.
Darlene was a Beautiful person with a heart of Gold. She was a homemeaker her whole life, a good mom, and also a cool grandmother. Her hobbies include listening to music, going to the beach, taking her dog to the park. She loved to plant her tomatoes and herbs, “walk into her living room and you would see plants everywhere”. Darlene was devoted to her loved ones and the community. She loved everyone for who they are. Every holiday she would bake all kinds of goodies, everyone knew if ma had it, you got it. If you knew Darlene you know she loved her knick nacks, but most of all she loved her kids and wanted them all to know she loved them very much and would always talk a lot about her kids. One thing for sure no matter what life brought her way, she was a fighter, a strong women, a great mom and a loving grandmother. She was loved by many and all the memories we all shared with such a beautiful soul that God called home, Darlene Marie Tessier also Known as Ma and Grandma. “We Love You and will miss you”
Darlenes’ visiting hours will be held on Monday , March 26, 2018 from 5-7 P.M. at Perry Funeral Home.
