Michael Scott Farland

Michael Scott Farland, 53 of New Bedford,Mass. passed away Sunday March 11 2018 at St Lukes Hospital. He was the son of the late Roland Sr. and his surviving mother Irene Farland.
He leaves behind seven brothers and six sisters, five children Michael Jr., Angela, Scott, A.J.,and Tristan . With them he leaves the love of his life Diane and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Michael attended South Eastern Regional Vocational School and later became a commercial fisherman until he moved on to specializing in home improvements. Michael was a sports enthusiast and had a special love for the New Engand Patroits. He had a passion for antiquing and loved giving to others. His joy for life will truly be missed.
Michael was a survivor of Shriners Childrens Hospital in Boston,Mass, we ask that any donations be made on his behalf to them.
Michael's funeral will be Friday March 16th with a visitation in the funeral home from 9:00 - 10:00 A.M. Burial will immediately follow in Rural Cemetery.
