Maria Fatima Da Silva

New Bedford-Maria Fatima (Couto) Da Silva died October 28, 2005 at St. Luke’s Hospital after a long illness. She was the wife of Tiago T. Da Silva of New Bedford, MA. She was the mother of Hermano P. and Kevin J. Da Silva both of New Bedford, MA. She was the grandmother of Cristian D. Da Silva of New Bedford, MA. She was the sister of Jose, and Joao Couto both of Dartmouth, MA., and Manuel Couto of New Bedford, MA. She was aunt of several nieces, and nephews.

Mrs. Da Siva was the daughter of the late Joao Bento and Maria C. (Rosonina) Couto. She was born in Ribeira Quente,Sao Miguel,Azores, and has lived in this area since 1977. She was a housewife.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church at 9:00 A.M. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visiting hours will be from 4 to 7 P.M., on Sunday October 30, 2005 at the Perry Funeral Home.
