William E. Westgate

New Bedford – William E. Westgate, age 61 of New Bedford, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Ann (Souza) Westgate and the son of the late Beatrice (Castro) and Everett Westgate.

William loved fishing and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Ann; 2 daughters, Krystle Westgate and Ashley (Holt) St. Don ; son, Brandon Westgate; 2 grandchildren, Kaiden and Dalton Westgate; brother, Michael Westgate; sister, Rhonda Frates, Diane Westgate and Patricia Cabral; as well as several nieces and nephews.

William’s visiting hours will be Saturday from 2:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. at the funeral home with a service to also take place during this time. Burial will be private.
