Marian Phyllis Brown

Marian Phyllis Brown, 70, died after a long struggle with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) on Thursday, October 26, 2017 in New Bedford, MA. She went peacefully with her husband, William K. Brown by her side. She was born on March 26, 1947 in New Bedford, MA to the late Filomeno Rezendes and the late Lillian Lewis Pacheco. In 1976 she married William and together they raised Marian’s son, Troy A. Rezendes, Marian’s two daughters, Wendy A. Boucher and Patricia E. Allen and their daughter Crystal M. Vicente. Marian worked in the laundry room at Brandon Woods Nursing Home for many years and was particularly known for her kindness and laughter.

Marian is survived by husband, William; her son, Troy; her three daughters, Wendy, Patricia and Crystal; her granddaughters, Chantal M. Rosonina and Madison L.Barboza; grandsons, Koryd B. A. Lavimoniere, Michael A. Cardoso, Garrett Q. Allen, Payton G. A. Allen, Devin S. Vicente and her great grandchildren, Trinity F. Rosonina, Jason Perry Jr. and Natalia A. Perry.

Visiting Hours will be held on Monday, November 6, 2017 from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. Her funeral services will immediately follow in the funeral home with a service to begin at 11:00 A.M.
