Carmen Lucia Pimentel

Dartmouth – Carmen Lucia Pimentel, age 71 of Dartmouth, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was the beloved wife of Pedro D. Pimentel and the daughter of the late Carmen (Guitterrez) and Caetano DaBruzzo.

Carmen was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil and had worked as a weaver for Nutex.

She is survived by her husband; her children; Pedro Pimentel of New Bedford and Ana Grochmal of Dartmouth; grandchildren, Alyssa, Samantha, Cameron and Shane; 5 great grandchildren; siblings, Beto DaBruzzo of Acushnet, Carlos and Teco DaBruzzo both of Brazil; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Her visiting hours will be Monday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning, beginning in the funeral home at 9:30 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 10:30 A.M. Burial will immediately follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
