Alice Roderick

New Bedford – Alice (Lima) Roderick , age 93 of New Bedford, passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late William Alfred Roderick and was the daughter of the late Maria (DeMelo) and Frank Lima.

She was born in New Bedford, Ma and was employed in the New Bedford School Department in Child Care.

She is survived by her daughter Andrea Braga of New Bedford, and 4 sons; Paul Lima of Warwick, R.I., Donald Roderick of New Bedford, Mark Roderick of Attleboro, and William Roderick of E. Providence.; 3 siblings: Vena Curtis, Sally Reis,and Joseph Lima as well as 18 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Alice was predeceased by 12 siblings.

Her visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Funeral will be on Thursday at 8:00 A.M. with a service to begin at 9:00 A.M.
