New Bedford – Armando Vicente deMedeiros died September 20, 2005 at New Bedford Health Care and Rehab Center. He was the husband of Maria dosAnjos (Pavao) deMedeiros of New Bedford. Survivors include 2 sons Joe deMedeiros and John Medeiros both of New Bedford. 3 Daughters Maria Margarida Cabral of Dartmouth, Adriana Fernandes of Acushnet, and Judith Madruga of Dartmouth. 17 Grandchildren; Elizabeth Gillett, Christine Pacheco, Marlene Amaral, Christopher Fernandes, Victor Medeiros, Laurie Bourguignon, Marcie Fernandes, Monica Medeiros, Sarah Cabral, Matthew Madruga, Kaitlyn Madruga, Stephanie Medeiros, Bethany Fernandes, Ashley Medeiros, Sarah and Emma Madruga. Grandfather of the late Michael Cabral and Brother of the late Jose Vicente Medeiros. Survivors also include 7 Great Grandchildren And several Nieces and Nephews.

Mr. deMedeiros was born in St. Michael, Azores Portugal. He has lived in the New Bedford area for several years. He was a son of the late Jose Vicente and Maria Alexandre (Cordeiro) Medeiros. He was worked as machine operator at England Hard Industrial

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday September 24, 2005 at 9 A.M. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visiting hours will be from 6-9 P.M. Friday September 23, 2005 at the Perry Funeral Home.
