Marie Z. Bertola

New Bedford — Marie Z. Bertola, age 91 of New Bedford, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at home. She was the wife of the late Charles Bertola and the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Mary (Belanger) Bussiere.
Marie was born in New Bedford. She worked as an assembler for The Acushnet Company until her retirement.

She is survived by her best friend and caregiver: Karen Henriques of Westport; 2 nephews: Kenneth J. Sylvia of New Bedford and Joseph Sylvia Jr of New Mexico; 1 niece: Beatrice Watkins of New Mexico; 1 Godson: Michael Messier of Temple, Texas. She was also the sister of the late Rita Chouinard and the aunt of the late Alice M. Sylvia.

Marie’s burial will take place at a later date. Arrangements placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. New Bedford, MA 02740.
