Dorothy Stanton

Fairhaven – Dorothy Stanton, age 79 of New Bedford, passed away, on Friday February 24, 2017 at her nephew’s home in Fairhaven. She was the loving daughter of the late Patrick and Alice (Selleck) Stanton Jr.

She was born in New Bedford, MA, and was a manager for the Department of Employment and Training for the state of Massachusetts until her retirement .
Her family includes her nephew Kevin Miller of Fairhaven. She also the sister of the late William P. Miller.

Her funeral will be Monday at 10:00 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Church in South Dartmouth. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in New Bedford. Family and friends are invited to meet directly at church. Arrangements placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford, MA.
