Rita Daigle

New Bedford - Rita (Dumas) Daigle, age 86 of Acushnet, passed away on Wednesday February 21, 2017 at St. Luke's Hospital. She was the wife of the late Louis Daigle and the daughter of the late Phillip and Saraphina (de Souza) Dumas.

Mrs. Daigle was a lifelong resident of this area.

Her family includes 5 children: Maureen Daigle-Burton and her husband, Chuck, of North Carolina, Louis Daigle, Jr. of Maine; the late Linda Livesey, the late Pam Mackay and the late Andy Daigle; 4 grandchildren: Kevin, Shannon, Sara, Randy, Josh, Asia and Jesse, all of North Carolina; 8 great grandchildren: Mitchell, Jordan, Alyssa, Andy, Jack, Caira, Noah and Solace.

She was predeceased by 2 siblings.

Rita will be cremated and services are omitted. Arrangements placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. New Bedford, Ma 02740.
