Christina Pereira

P>New Bedford - Christina (Correia) Pereira, aged 85 years, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2005, at home. She was the wife of the late Luis L. Pereira. Survivors include 2 daughters; Ulmina Santos of E.Providence and Zelia Medeiros of New Bedford and 2 sons; Helder Pereira of So.Dartmouth and Adeilio Pereira of No. Dartmouth, 16 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and a sister Natalia Silveira of New Bedford.

Mrs. Pereira was born in Fayal, Azores and came to this area in 1967. She was the daughter of the late Tomas and Rose Correia . Mrs Pereira was a floor girl for Arister Sportswear.

Her Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, September 3, 2005 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church at 9:00 A.M. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visiting hours will be from 5 to 8 P.M. on Friday, September 2, 2005 and at 8 A.M. on Saturday, September 3, 2005 at the Perry Funeral Home
