Eduardo Manuel Leal

New Bedford – Eduardo Manuel Leal, died Wednesday, August 24, 2005 at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the father of Elizabeth Leal, Joyce Madeira and Edward Leal, all of New Bedford. Mr. Leal was the brother of Rosa Marie, wife of Jose Leal, of New Bedford, Rita wife of Horacio Furtao of New Bedford, Maria wife of Frederick Langevin of Dartmouth, and the brother of the late Delia Leal.

Mr. Leal was born in Horta, Fayal, Azores, Portugal. He lived in the area since 1962. Mr. Leal was the son of the late Manuel and Rosa (Correia) Leal. Mr. Leal was a retired machine operator for Columbia Electronics.

Mr. Leal's Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St John the Baptist Church at 9:00 A.M. on Monday, August 29, 2005. Burial will follow at St. Jonh's Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Sunday, August 28, 2005 from 5 to 8 P.M. and Monday, August 29, 2005 at 8 A.M. at The Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St.
