Filomena M.T. Dasilva

New Bedford – Filomena M.T. daSilva , age 66 passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at St. Luke’s Hospital. Born in Pico, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Manuel P. and Virginia (Teixeira) DaSilva.

She is survived by a sister, Maria Regina Aguiar of Brazil; as well as several nieces and nephews. Filomena was predeceased by 3 siblings:, her twin, Florenciana Teixeira daSilva, Manuel T. daSilva and Lino T. DaSilva.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 9:00 A.M. Please meet directly at church. Visitation has been omitted. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery. Arrangements placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. New Bedford, MA 02740.
