Sylvina Oliveira

New Bedford – Sylvina Oliveira, age 94 of Dartmouth, formerly of New Bedford, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Hathaway Manor Extended Care. She was the loving wife of the late Thomas Oliveira.

Born in Dartmouth, Mrs. Oliveira lived all her life in this area and was the daughter of the late Jess and Felibina (Moniz) Arruda.

She is survived by her daughter, Elaine Frasier of Palm Bay, Fla; 2 siblings: Leonard Arruda and Geraldine Simon; niece, Elvira Reed of Somerset; as well as a grandson and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Oliveira was predeceased by her siblings; John Arruda, Joseph Arruda, George Arruda, Mary Barros, Irene Rose, Gloria Souza, Sophie Medeiros and Sara Sylvia

Her funeral will be Tuesday morning beginning in the funeral home at 8:45 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Julie Billiart Church at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery.
