Louis Macedo

Louis Macedo, 79, of Dartmouth, MA., died Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at St. Luke's Hospital following a period of declining health. Born in New Bedford, Ma. Louis was the son of Antone and Maria (Almeida) Macedo.
Louis was a member of St. Vincent de Paul society, Dartmouth Friends of the Elderly, Mount Carmel CYO, Goodyear's Top Ten Club where he was employed for 24 years, and a Dartmouth Town Meeting Member. Survivors include his wife Irene C. Macedo, his two sons Thomas L. Macedo, husband of Dr. Judith Meisner of Barrington, RI and the late Brenda M. Macedo, Paul Macedo, two grandchildren: Jonathan Macedo and Evan Macedo of Boston, Louis's brother David C. Macedo and his wife Irene, sisters Mary Stafford and Cecelia Aguiar and her husband Roland, preceded by brothers Antone, Leonard and James Macedo and many loved nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Julies Billiard Church, 494 Slocum Rd. Dartmouth, MA. at 10:00 A.M. Monday August 22, 2016. Condolences accepted prior to mass at St. Julies beginning at 9:30 A.M. Visiting hours have been omitted. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society, 494 Slocum Rd. Dartmouth, Ma 02747. Arrangements placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford.
