Maria Do Rosario De Sousa

New Bedford – Maria do Rosario De Sousa, age 85 of New Bedford, passed away on Friday August 12, 2016 at Brandon Woods of New Bedford. She was the loving wife of the late Manuel L. De Sousa and the daughter of the late August de Sousa Pata and Maria da Gloria (Pacheco) Pata.
Born in Auga de Pao, St. Michael, Azores she moved to this area in 1969. She was loving housewife to her husband and family.
Her surviving family include 3 siblings: Gilberto De Sousa of New Bedford, Duarte De Sousa of Canada and Margarida De Sousa of Auga de Pao, St. Michael, Azores; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be Wednesday at 8:00 A.M. with a service to begin at 9:00 A.M. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery. Arrangements placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New
