David J. Blier

New Bedford – David J. Blier, age 57, passed away on Thursday June 30, 2016 at St Luke’s Hospital. David spent all of his life in this area and was the son of the late Arthur and Lorraine (Gagnon) Blier.

He enjoyed fishing and spending time at the coffee shop playing Keno.

He is survived by his daughter, Krystle Almeida and her husband, Kenneth, of Dartmouth; a grandson, Kole; two brothers: his twin, Daniel Blier and Donald Blier, both of New Bedford; as well as his former wife, Carolyn Picanzo.

Mr. Blier will be cremated. Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Monday, July 11, 2016 from 4 – 7 P.M. Arrangements placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the American Diabetes Association, 146 Clifford St. Providence RI or to a charity of your choice.
