Evelyn Rodriguez

New Bedford – Evelyn Rodriguez, age 43, passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Kindred Nursing and Rehab- Hallmark. Born in Coamo, Puerto Rico, the daughter of Luz Rodriguez and the4 late Victor Rivera, she moved to this area in 1992 and dedicated her time to upbringing of her family.
She was survived by her mother, Luz Rodriguez of New Bedford; 2 daughters: Jennifer Salgado and Yamilet Salgado, both of Puerto Rico; 4 siblings: Dennis Rivera, Victor Rivera, Jahira Rivera and Victor Rivera, all of New Bedford; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be Wednesday in the funeral home at 9:00 A.M. with a service to begin at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Tuesday evening from 5 - 7 P.M. Arrangements placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford.
