Beverly (Sousa) Vardo

Beverly (Souza) Vardo, 89, of Dartmouth, passed away March 6th, 2016 at the New Bedford Jewish Convalescent Home. She was the wife of the late John Vardo, daughter to the late Mariano and Rosalina (Travers) Souza, and sister to the late Altina Coelho.
She worked for 44 years at the Cornell Dubilier, until her retirement.

Beverly enjoyed playing bingo with her family and friends as well as her many trips to different casinos, especially Foxwoods.

She is survived by her sister, Bertha Cabral, and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel on April 2nd at 8:30 a.m., burial of her cremains to follow at St. John’s Cemetery.
