Adelino F. Palhais

New Bedford – Adelino F. Palhais, age 90, passed away on Tuesday February 9, 2016 at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the husband of the late Maria Amelia Jordao (Dos Santos) and the son of the late Maria Pedrosa (Poeira) and Manuel Maria Ferreira Palhais. He was born in Figueira da Foz, Portugal and after moving to this area, he worked as a Landscaper for Morgado Landscaping.
He is survived by his son Antonio M. Palhais, daughter in-law, Belmira P. Palhais; grandson, Claudio M. Palhais; great grandchildren, Gabriel A. Palhais and Mila Rose Palhais
Visitation will be held Sunday evening in the funeral home from 5 – 7 P.M. Burial will be in Portugal at a later date. Arrangements placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford.
